An Palestinian-American teenager after completing 270 days in Israel's custody without being charged gained freedom.

The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim had just turned 15 when he was arrested last February in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, where he was visiting while residing in Florida for allegedly throwing stones toward Israeli settlers, which he previously denied.

United States authorities expressed satisfaction with the news of Mohammed's release.

Mohammed, now 16, was taken to hospital upon gaining freedom, family members reported.

Family described him as pale, underweight, and is suffering from conditions contracted in captivity.

In a statement, family spokesperson expressed the family's "overwhelming sense of relief".

Family member Zeyad Kadur described how relatives endured "living a horrific and endless nightmare" during the entire detention period.

"Right now, we're concentrating on ensuring Mohammed receives urgent medical care he requires after being subjected to mistreatment by authorities and brutal treatment over several months."

American authorities announced ongoing to extend consular services to Mohammed's family.

{"The Trump Administration has no higher priority to the protection and welfare of US citizens"," officials stated.

A group of American legislators submitted a formal letter to the state department and the White House, requesting additional efforts to secure his release.

Mr Ibrahim, a father-of-four who runs an ice cream business based in Tampa, had earlier stated Mohammed acknowledged allegations about rock throwing because the soldiers beat him.

There were no visits or communicated with his son since February, and only heard what had happened to him through judicial records.

The teenager remained lacking indictment within Ofer penitentiary throughout the occupied territory.

It is also home to mature inmates, featuring prisoners sentenced regarding severe security violations including killings.

There are around 350 Palestinian child security detainees currently imprisoned in Israel, based on prison authority data.

Many have never been charged along with monitoring agencies, and international organizations, report instances of mistreatment and torture.

After the teenager's freedom, the uncle stated relatives would persist in advocating demanding accountability for their family member Sayfollah Musallet.

The 20-year-old dual US citizen according to health authorities succumbed to assault by Israeli settlers during a confrontation in July.

During that period, defense forces stated they were examining reports a Palestinian civilian was deceased.

Both young men were employed together at their family's ice cream business in Tampa, Florida.

No charges have been filed for the cousin's murder.

"We demand the American government to protect our families," the uncle stated.
